Standing behind customer service counters for long hours is not only painful, it can significantly impact employee productivity and the customer service experience. So, when employees at the Enterprise Rent-a-Car at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport started complaining of aches and pains, the Regional Operations Manager knew something needed to be done.
In May of 2017, the manager reached out to SATECH, Inc. for help in implementing a SmartCells Anti-Fatigue solution behind the customer service counter. Having previous experience working with other Alamo, National, and Enterprise rental car centers, our experts recommended a grey 1” anti-fatigue flooring solution with a 3.5” wide yellow rubber ramp at all transition areas.
This particular installation required custom cutting to put the flooring in the toe-kick space underneath the counters as well as a custom cut around the door to offset the height of the door.
Once completed, the Regional Operations Manager with Enterprise gave glowing reviews stating that “the installers were professional, courteous, and worked with our staff to get the job done quickly.” He was very pleased with the installation and the relief it provided for their employees.
