One of our most loyal customers, Delta Airlines, has been implementing SmartCells Anti-fatigue solutions in their locations globally since 2005.
This particular installation (see below photos) took place in 2017 at the Delta Airlines ticket counter located in Knoxville, TN.
Delta Airlines requested a SmartCells custom edge-to-edge flooring solution that covered the space between the conveyor belt and toe kick area under the ticket counter. It was determined that our 1” thick black SmartCells flooring with a yellow 3.5” transition ramp should be installed to keep employees comfortable and reduce tripping hazards from stepping on-and-off the SmartCells. As you can tell from the pictures, this installation required intricate cuts and attention to detail.
The Delta Airlines Operations Service Manager was happy with the installation, and his team is feeling much more comfortable standing on SmartCells flooring all day.
