SmartCells® is a new generation of cushioning technology for standing workers and for people who are at risk of injury from falls. The SmartCells® technology can be formulated to relieve fatigue and increase productivity, and/or used as a fall protection surface.
The SmartCells® patented structure consists of an integrated surface layer and an underlying array of cylindrical rubber cells. The SmartCells® structure provides a stable surface supported by unstable rubber cells that soften as needed in response to surface activity. The cells adjust dynamically to varying types of impacts, forces and static loads applied to the surface in order to provide:
- Maximum fatigue reduction and reduced foot, leg, and back pain in standing workers
